You are not my enemy, nor am I yours. You may be my colleague, co-worker, or family member…but you are not my enemy. Nor will I treat you as my enemy. I will love you. I will love you when it comforts you, I will love you when it hurts. I will love you when it burns your very being. But I will love you. You. Because you, loved one, are not my enemy.

You are SO loved! God has so justified us through the work of the cross that even our best works are still as filthy rags without it (the cross). So settle in and be perfected in it friend. And then spread it around. :) Thanks for commenting!

I absolutely love this, because it reminds us of God's unconditional love for His Children. And the Scripture reminds us of our real enemy. Thanks for posting!!!

This kind of love is hard to practice at first, but as it becomes a habit it sets us free from needing something from the other person and allows us instead to truly want the best for them. Then this love takes us deeper still and shows us how to care for and accept them in spite of their choices because we realize that we too do not always make the best choices for ourselves. Empathy is born, compassion springs forth, and wisdom matures. All the while, we become more childlike and the process gets easier.

Love. Never. Fails. When it's convenient and when it's not, Love Remains Consistent. Thank you for your insight and encouragement to be the Love that's needed in the situation. To be the Love in any situation we must submit to Love first. I'm looking forward to more pearls of grace and wisdom from you! Thanks for investing into others!

That was an awesome message, I truly need to be reminded on a daily basis that the battle is not mine, but the lords. and I pray everyday that when dealing with anyone I keep principals before personality. Love is simple but it is not easy when flesh gets involved. Thank you for the exposing the inner me (enemy)

Thank you for the reminder! God is Love! If we do not have God, we truly don't know how to Love. I must confess there are times that I need a reminder that people are not my problem. This is why it is so important to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. As believers , we are called to love people through and in spite of the mess. The thing that always comes to mind with me when I am facing a difficult situation with someone is that hurting people hurt people. God loved us through and in spite of our own shortcomings and we are called to do the same.
